We took one of our coworkers from New York to Mom & Bop, and he liked it. The food was good, though it's a bit pricey for the portion sizes. But, hey, it's LA, so that's to be expected.

I feel like this place has the potential to go from good to great! I love that it is a family run (kind of hole-in-the-wall...at least for WLA) and food is pretty solid. My hope however would be that "for here" food wouldn't be served in plastic containers, just to be thrown out after someone leaves the restaurant.

The bibimbop was delicious. Beef was well marinated and the vegetables were a good flavorful mix. The kimchi was also pretty good although not too spicy. Which much better a good thing g for the average American. Not a cheep meal but nowadays nothing is. I'll be back to try more.

This place has been on my list. I was pulled in when I saw the sign on their window showing various dishes for only $6 including beef dumplings. They are on the smaller side, but still a decent deal. They were g anything special, but they were yummy. I ordered for pick up on the apps. It was ready quickly and on time. Person at the counter, mom I am assuming, was kind an attentive. I also got the jap chae which was delicious. Large portion, good amount of beef. Super fresh veggies. I will say I prefer the japchae from gushi in Westwood in terms of west side Korean food. I will definitely be coming back.
